Teeth whitening is a process designed to lighten the shade of the dentine within your teeth.. It is a safe procedure when carried out under professional supervision. Treatment results can vary depending on the degree of discolouration and staining present. It is not effective on dental restorations such as amalgam fillings, metal or porcelain crowns, etc.
If you decide to go ahead, we will firstly assess your dental fitness for treatment and discuss your whitening options and current shade. The dentist will then take impressions of the teeth and we will use these to make whitening trays. At the next appointment we will then give you the whitening gel and explain how to use and care for the trays. After 14 days we will see you again to review results.
